Cham is not only a place to live and work, it is also a royal location, in the sense of being the stage for royal visits. The hand-held booklet, researched and written by the Zug writer and historian Dr. Michael van Orsouw, uses texts and pictures to document seven such sensational stories of blue-blooded events in Zug. Entertainingly stimulating and with intellectual flair, it shows how Zug was again and again touched by the tides of history.
The book design by silent studio assumes a correspondingly aristocratic demeanour. The small but refined book is bound in royal-blue cloth and additionally ennobled with golden hot-foil embellishments. It spans 128 pages and is richly illustrated.
